Fashion is art. It’s either this or the most superficial thing in the world. I consider fashion as an art form and every piece of clothing I choose to wear is a proof of my beliefs.

This is a post purely about artisanal products. To be more exact, a post that focuses in the embroidery and needle handcrafting. An age-old craft to which women used to dedicate many hours of their everyday life. It’s needless to say that hard work was part of the procedure, as well as a tremendous ability to memorise and a flawless vision. At the same time, that monotonous way of knitting was relaxing and therapeutic (in a meditative way). The outcome was always rewarding and the “artists” used it, almost exclusively, to decorate.
Lately artisanal has made a huge comeback and if you are familiar with the art of knitting, use it! I don’t, and so I consoled myself with this two piece swimsuit I found during my vacations. I instantly fell in love. The color was dreamy and the details… Take a closer look at the details. They look like a piece of art, don’t they?
